Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our acute rehabilitation team. This facility provides comprehensive care and specialized treatment for individuals recovering from severe injuries or illnesses. Our programs are designed to maximize health, function, and quality of life for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized rehabilitation care to patients recovering from various conditions, including stroke, brain injury, trauma, and orthopedic injuries.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing care plans as needed.
• Perform acute care nursing tasks including IV starts, management of feeding tubes, ostomy care, and wound care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, specifically EPIC.

Qualifications

• Current RN license is required.
• Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is preferred.
• Experience in acute care settings is essential; previous rehabilitation experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to high-quality patient care.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and maintain a patient-focused approach.

Additional Information

• Shift: 19:00 – 07:00
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• No on-call requirements

First Day Instructions

• Scrub Color: Navy for RN
• Time to report: 6:45 AM or 6:45 PM
• Meet with: Nurse Manager upon arrival
• Parking: Available in the large parking lot right of the front entrance.
