Visual Merchandising Manager III

Location: Culver City or Cupertino, CA Schedule: In‑Office T/W/Th; Remote M/F Duration: through April2027 Pay Comments:W2, weekly pay, benefits, 401k w/ match Background screening required Responsibilities Create, maintain, and publish store layouts and detailed product planograms for product launches and merchandising resets. Collaborate with global and regional counterparts to ensure strategic alignment across all merchandising initiatives. Leverage extensive regional and visual expertise to influence global strategy, localizing approaches to address specific market nuances. Identify opportunities to enhance the customer experience through field feedback, observation, and comprehensive performance and space analysis. Work closely with cross‑functional teams to coordinate product launches and effectively communicate the visual merchandising strategy. Forecast and communicate accurate demo product and visual element counts for merchandising changes, ensuring correct demo products are available in every store. Develop and review store communications, including reset labor hours, merchandising setup guides, merchandising standards, and strategy guides. Contribution to Success This role is central to creating an immersive and engaging retail environment. By meticulously crafting visual displays and ensuring seamless execution, you will directly contribute to customer discovery, education, and ultimately, the commercial success of new product introductions and ongoing merchandising efforts. Your strategic insights and operational precision will uphold the company’s reputation for unparalleled customer experiences. Required Qualifications Action‑oriented with exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast‑paced environments, independently leading and meeting objectives. Capable of driving the overarching mission and business drivers while seamlessly moving to tactical, detailed execution. Strong planning and time management skills with a future‑oriented mindset. Proven ability to influence, build rapport, and develop business relationships with partners at all levels. Strong cross‑functional agility with the ability to work effectively in a global organization, keeping work streams on deadline while continuously improving strategies and processes. Strong process management and technical learning with proven ability for systems management. Extensive retail and design experience in delivering commercial results through compelling visual merchandising. Demonstrated passion for putting the customer first and crafting unique customer experiences within a retail environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Skilled partnership experience with senior management and the ability to collaborate with diverse technical and creative teams. Project management and process improvement experience. Demonstrates values of inclusion and diversity. BA/BS degree, MBA a plus.
