Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Whiteland, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. This role is ideal for someone who values teamwork, acts with integrity, and brings an agile, reliable, and people-first approach to every shift.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

1. DayTime Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
2. Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
3. Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
4. Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
5. Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific procedures and responding to security-related concerns in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document activities according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter access points.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries, helping to support authorized access and reporting unusual activity.
• Assist with emergency response activities and communicate with site contacts and/or local responders when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
