Your Key Responsibilities
  • Employ advanced radiographic and CT imaging techniques to capture high-resolution diagnostic images
  • Foster collaboration with physicians and radiologists to guarantee optimal diagnostic outcomes
  • Utilize accurate patient positioning techniques and equipment calibration to ensure quality scans
  • Enforce stringent radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff alike
  • Maintain detailed records, including imaging logs and routine equipment maintenance
  • Deliver empathetic patient care throughout each phase of the imaging process
  • Support a well-organized, efficient, and safe imaging work environment
Qualifications and Credentials
  • An Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology; a Bachelor's Degree is advantageous
  • Successful graduation from an accredited radiology program
Essential Certifications
  • ARRT certification in CT and/or Radiography is required
  • Current BLS certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
Necessary Skills and Attributes
  • Strong knowledge of diagnostic imaging protocols and best practices for safety
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills with patients and interdisciplinary teams
  • Adept at adapting to a fast-paced healthcare environment and quick thinking
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability
  • Proficient with PACS, RIS, and other digital imaging software
