Textile Designer - Rug

Overview We have a client in the Atlanta, GA area that is looking to add a Textile Designer to their product development team. The focus will be on designing woven and printed textiles for home soft goods, including bath, table linens, shower curtains, rugs, and related products. The role requires a deep understanding of textile construction and manufacturing processes for weaving. The designer will need to be well‑versed in Photoshop and Illustrator and will be responsible for designing and driving development in the textile and seasonal rug collections. The client may assist with relocation and offers a hybrid work schedule, three days in the office and two days working from home. Position: Permanent, full‑time. Salary: Approximately $80,000 per year. Responsibilities Design woven and printed textiles for home soft goods. Develop concepts for the textile and seasonal rug collections. Use Photoshop and Illustrator to create and refine designs. Collaborate with product development teams to ensure designs meet manufacturing specifications. Drive development from concept to production, ensuring quality and cost goals are met. Qualifications Deep understanding of textile construction and weaving manufacturing processes. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Experience in designing home textiles such as bath, table linens, shower curtains, or rugs. Strong creative vision combined with attention to detail.
