RN – Stepdown / PCU | Asheville, NC
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night, 3x12 (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
Location: 509 Biltmore Avenue, Asheville, NC 28801

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to stepdown/PCU patients requiring close monitoring and intermediate care
• Assess patient condition, monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and respond to changes in status
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team for coordinated patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely updates to patient records
• Float within staffing pool as required to support patient care needs

Required Skills:

• Minimum 2 years of RN Stepdown/PCU experience
• Strong telemetry monitoring and acute care experience
• Experience managing patients with cardiac, respiratory, and complex medical conditions
• IV medication administration and critical assessment skills
• Ability to work night shift in fast-paced acute care setting
• Strong teamwork and adaptability
