Together, we can redefine excellence.On any given day, you'll:Provide project management for a variety of municipal and private projects including roadway reconstruction, sanitary sewers, storm sewers, water mains, bridges, trails, and traffic signalsConduct business development for Preliminary engineering workBe responsible for the concept, design, and engineering required to complete IDOT and Local Roads preliminary engineering projectsBe responsible for geometric design on projects and training staff in geometric designWork closely with Principal to provide project, scope, schedule, and budgetEffectively communicate and coordinate with clients and stakeholders both verbally and writtenUnderstand project schedules and implement accordinglyUnderstand and execute requirements for different funding opportunitiesReview exhibits to communicate with clients for inclusion in project reportsRead, analyze, and interpret technical procedures or government regulationsEnvironmental Survey Request processReview and assist with project reportsWrite Funding ApplicationsReview and assist with project cost estimatesQualifications:Bachelor 's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited four-year college or universityMust be a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of IllinoisValid Driver's license with a good driving recordMinimum of 10 years of experience with IDOT and Phase I projectsDesired Skills and Experiences:Experience with ISTHA/IDOT and Local Roads project processing proceduresMicrostation/Geopak softwareGeometric Design Physical Demands:Ability to sit, walk, reach, crouch, bend, and walk or stand on uneven surfaces for extended periods of timeAbility to lift and carry a minimum of 30 lbs.Constant hand, finger, and arm useConstant computer screen exposureProlonged reading READY TO JOIN OUR TEAM?
