Registered Nurse (RN) - Interventional Radiology

Interventional Radiology RNSchedule: Days with call responsibilities; guaranteed 40 hours/week. Call required on weekends and as needed.Assignment Details: Patient ratios are 1:1 during days, nights, and weekends.Requirements:Minimum 2 years RN experienceValid permanent RN license in CaliforniaACLS, BLS, PALS certifications required; NIHSS preferredReference: 2 supervisor references from the past year required at time of submissionExperience with interventional procedures (angiography, embolization, stenting, and neuro interventions) is preferredResponsibilities:Provide direct patient care for various diagnoses including stroke, trauma, and peripheral ischemiaAdminister medications and monitor patient responses during proceduresCoordinate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomesEnsure compliance with radiation safety proceduresPerform vascular access and management tasksCompliance / Notes: Pre-start and orientation modules are required, with the first hours being billable. Max time off is 2 weeks total, no time off within the first 2 weeks of assignment.
