Join Allied Universal as an armed officer at a resort location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.16 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat07:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun07:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to guests, residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner while documenting details and notifying appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout resort-style properties, lodges, amenities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and support property rules regarding restricted areas, after-hours entry, and/or special events. Assist with de-escalation, report writing, and coordination with local law enforcement and/or emergency services when situations require additional support. Minimum Requirements: An armed guard card and/or license is required. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
