About the Job Job Title: On-Call Event Staff Location: The Hawthorns Golf and Country Club - Fishers, IN Job Type: On-Call / As Needed Compensation: Hourly - Based on experience Join Our Events Team! The Hawthorns Golf and Country Club is seeking enthusiastic and dependable individuals to join our Part time & On-Call Event Staff team and seasonal server positions in our pool side restaurant. This is a perfect opportunity for those looking to earn extra income with a flexible schedule , especially on weekends . As an on-call team member, you'll play a key role in delivering memorable experiences for our members and guests during a variety of events including weddings, themed parties, golf outings, corporate functions, and more . Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of event spaces (tables, chairs, linens, décor, etc.).
- Provide exceptional service during events, including food and beverage service.
- Maintain a professional, friendly, and welcoming demeanor at all times.
- Follow event timelines and instructions from the Events Manager or Banquet Captain.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of event areas before, during, and after functions.
- Assist in service for the Arbor Grill.
- Prior hospitality or event service experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to lift and move event equipment (tables, chairs, etc.).
- Must be reliable, punctual , and have strong communication skills.
- Availability on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays is essential.
- Must be 18 years or older.
