TKI Intermodal, LLC has an immediate opening for a full-time Welder / Metal Fabricator.

Some of our projects involve turning shipping containers into; multi-unit houses, solar powered offices, and storage containers with pop-up doors or sliding doors and it doesn't stop there. Primary Duties Required for This Position:

Sets up and operates fabricating machines and associated tools
Fabricates and assembles metal products
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Stage and weld components in a variety of placements and scenarios
Support the migration of materials from metal fab to painting/finishing areas

Essential Skills and Requirements:

Ability to work at multiple heights
Able to work and weld in tight spaces
Attention to detail
Ability to prioritize and to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Read, comprehend and complete basic checklists, forms and other related documents
Ability to operate equipment or willingness to learn
Must be able to think on your feet and troubleshoot problems as they arise
