ICU/IMCU RN Travel/Local Contract
Location: Atlanta, GA

Pay: $50 $55/hour, based on experience

Shift: Days | 7:00 AM 7:30 PM | 12-hour shifts

Start Date: Immediate

Contract: 13 Weeks

Avacend Inc. is seeking an experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) for an immediate-start ICU Float Pool opportunity in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will have strong ICU experience and be comfortable floating between critical care units in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients

Assess and monitor patient conditions and respond to emergencies

Administer medications and treatments

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Educate and support patients and families

Float between critical care units as needed

Required Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of ICU/Critical Care experience

Active Georgia RN license or Compact RN license

Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing

Must successfully pass a dysrhythmia assessment

Strong patient assessment, critical thinking, communication, and time-management skills

Preferred Experience

Hemodynamic monitoring

Vasopressor management

Ventilator management

CRRT

BSN preferred
