Scaffold Construction Supervisor

Job Description Summary Scaffold Construction Supervisor / Foreman 1 – Bessemer, AL. Responsibilities Design various types of scaffold constructions and order required materials. Perform all necessary documentation, including delivery/pick‑up tickets, timesheets, extra work authorizations, safety plans, JSA’s, and scaffold inspection checklists. Mentor and coach Scaffold E&D Lead Carpenters to aid in their professional development. Supervise and direct up to three Lead Carpenters, each running a small crew, to erect and dismantle scaffolds in compliance with safety regulations. Collaborate with E&D Foreman2 or E&D Supervisor to ensure proper scaffolding setup and safety standards. Maintain thorough knowledge of OSHA scaffolding rules and material load capacities. Ensure safety and effective operation of scaffold work at considerable heights. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years experience as Scaffold E&D Lead Carpenter or equivalent experience. Valid driver’s license. Ability to work comfortably and safely at considerable heights. Bilingual ability a plus. Good knowledge of OSHA regulations related to scaffolding. Understanding of various scaffolding materials and load limits. Prior experience supervising crews in construction settings is desirable. Physical Demands Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 40pounds or more, and working indoors or outdoors as required by the job.
