Ophthalmic Tech COA/COT

Direct Hire, Full-Time Ophthalmic Technician positions are available with leading ophthalmology practices throughout the greater Atlanta area, including Atlanta, Marietta, Fayetteville, Brookhaven, and Lawrenceville. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive ophthalmic workups Obtain patient medical histories and document chief complaints Conduct visual acuity testing and refractions Perform tonometry, pupil testing, and visual field testing Assist physicians with minor procedures and examinations Administer eye drops and medications as directed Prepare and maintain exam rooms and ophthalmic equipment Accurately document patient information within EMR systems Educate patients on procedures, medications, and follow-up care Requirements Current COA or COT certification preferred Minimum 1 year of recent ophthalmology experience required Experience with retina, glaucoma, cornea, or comprehensive ophthalmology preferred Strong knowledge of ophthalmic terminology and testing EMR experience required Excellent communication and patient care skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy clinic setting Preferred Skills OCT, visual fields, fundus photography, and scribing experience Ability to assist with injections and minor office procedures Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply Benefits Full-Time Direct Hire Competitive pay based on experience Benefits available through employer Multiple locations available throughout Metro Atlanta #J-18808-Ljbffr Dream Team Medical Staffing
