Job Overview A law firm seeks a Data, Privacy, and Cybersecurity Associate in New York City, NY. The successful candidate will join a team handling complex data, privacy, cybersecurity, consumer protection, and AI regulatory issues for global clients. Duties Represent clients in investigations by the FTC and state Attorneys General. Advise on data collection, usage, and compliance with global privacy laws. Develop responses to security breaches and enhance privacy policies. Create and implement global compliance programs. Requirements 3-5 years of relevant experience. Experience with technology industries and government regulation is desirable. Familiarity with FTC policy and enforcement is a plus. Education Superior academic credentials required. Certifications CIPP certification is a plus. Skills Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of computer programming, network technologies, and web technologies is beneficial.
