Make a real difference this school year by supporting students in special education programs with a contract position available in the Phoenix and Glendale, AZ area. Multiple on-site roles are open for qualified Special Education Teachers across a variety of grade levels and program focuses. Whether your experience lies in behavior support, autism spectrum needs, or early childhood special education, you’ll have the chance to contribute and grow professionally while shaping students’ lives.

Available assignments include:

• Self-contained classroom for a behavior program (CPI certification and behavior program experience strongly preferred)
• Self-contained cross-category classroom (2nd Grade, students in the MID cognitive range)
• Kindergarten and 2nd Grade Autism self-contained classrooms (students in the moderate intellectual range)
• Preschool special needs classroom (EC and SPED Certification preferred, but will consider EC experience with SPED Certification)
• Half-time Resource Teacher

Ideal candidates will possess:

• Current Special Education Educator Certification and valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Experience in one or more of the following: behavior intervention, autism support, cross-categorical instruction, early childhood special education
• CPI certification (for behavior program role)
• A collaborative, flexible mindset and strong communication skills
• Ability to adapt instructional strategies to varied student needs

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) based on student evaluations
• Delivering engaging, differentiated instruction in self-contained and/or resource settings
• Communicating with families and school staff to support student success
• Keeping accurate records and ensuring all compliance requirements are met
