Key Highlights Weekly pay: $3,102–$3,251 per week Guaranteed hours: 0.0 Contract duration: 7 weeks Shift: 12-hour days, 3 days per week Start date: 09/24/2026 Assignment setting: obstetric services in a clinical care environment Location: Middlebury, Vermont Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to laboring patients and newborns across Labor, Delivery, Postpartum, and Neonatal Care Monitor maternal and fetal status, assess labor progress, and administer medications per policy and physician orders Assist during delivery, support the mother and family, and participate in postpartum and newborn care Document care in the electronic medical record (Epic) and communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team Float to med-surg and ED units as needed to support unit operations and patient safety Educate patients and families on newborn care, recovery, and discharge planning Requirements Active Vermont RN license at time of submission AHA BLS and NRP certifications Minimum 1 year of labor/delivery/postpartum/newborn (LDRP) experience Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years Prior travel experience preferred Ability to float to med-surg and ED units as part of assignment Benefits and Support Bi-weekly orientations on Mondays Onboarding and credentialing coordination support 24/7 recruiter and travel assignment support Dedicated assignment support throughout the duration of the contract PAY DISCLAIMER RULE: Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
