AIRCRAFT MECHANIC SUPERVISOR

Air Reserve Technician Aircraft Section Chief
The primary purpose of this position is to serve as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) Aircraft Section Chief, providing technical and administrative supervision through subordinate leaders and/or supervisors in accomplishing aircraft and associated inspections, components, systems, and ground support equipment are maintained in compliance with technical directives and in a timely manner to ensure the accomplishment of flying schedules, maintenance plans and make certain personnel are trained and ready to meet any exercise contingency.
DUTIES:
- Performs work planning responsibilities.
- Performs work direction responsibilities.
- Performs administrative responsibilities.

- Ensures education in, compliance with, and practice of security directives, good safety, and health habits in all work areas.
- Reserve Training: Administers the reserve training and associated programs for Sortie Support Flight ensuring consistent standards throughout the flight for traditional reservists and ARTs.
