Manufacturing Maintenance Assistant

Hours: 6:30am - 3:00pm (Monday - Friday) Responsibilities The Facilities Assistant will play a key role in maintaining our manufacturing/office spaces, ensuring that all areas are clean, organized, and well-functioning. Coordinate maintenance requests, manage supplies, and assist in the setup and teardown of events. Help provide a clean and safe environment for clients. Assist the facility manager with repairs of the grounds, buildings, and fleet. Perform general maintenance and repairs of facility, grounds, and machine equipment. Ensure HVAC and heating systems are functional and filters are changed regularly. Maintain grounds with mowing, weeding, and general landscaping. Perform minor carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and painting as needed (no permit or license required). Assist in ordering general maintenance supplies and keep the storage room orderly. Assist with light housekeeping duties. Liaise with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to the Facilities Manager and Executive Director. Be tech‑savvy and able to navigate Microsoft and video‑conferencing applications. Abide by all health and safety guidelines and policies of the program and state, federal, and accreditation statutes. Maintain facility vehicle(s), including oil changes, tire rotations, inspections, and tags. Other duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager or Executive Director. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. At least three years of experience in general maintenance or handyman work.
