This short-term contract role allows you to make a meaningful impact from wherever you’re located while collaborating with a dedicated school team. You’ll play a vital part in shaping positive outcomes for students in need of evaluation and ongoing support.

Key Qualifications:

• Hold an active Louisiana Occupational Therapy (OT) license
• Prior experience with school-based OT services, including virtual provision, strongly preferred
• Confident conducting reevaluations and PreK evaluations, using various digital tools when working remotely
• Capable of completing IEP documentation and collaborating with educational teams within set timelines
• Experience supervising and mentoring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver virtual OT services for students across all grades, conducting thorough reevaluations to guide educational plans
• Perform virtual PreK evaluations on Fridays
• Dedicate at least one day weekly to crafting, updating, and presenting IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
• Provide consistent supervision and support to an onsite COTA, ensuring continuity and quality of care
• Communicate regularly with school teams to ensure student progress and compliance with documentation standards
• Engage in a part-time schedule according to contract needs, with potential for extended collaboration following the initial placement
