Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Prior experience in a school setting is strongly preferred
• Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to develop and implement individualized educational and therapeutic plans

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations to identify students’ needs and strengths in motor function, sensory integration, and activities of daily living
• Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to develop and deliver effective IEP-driven interventions
• Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in groups, per IEP requirements
• Monitor progress and adjust strategies to ensure students are making measurable gains
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with school and legal standards
• Offer consultation and training to school staff on sensory-motor strategies and adaptive equipment
