Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Thur 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a passenger rail transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, service concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of station areas, platforms, rail-adjacent perimeters, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe activity within assigned areas, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Complete required incident reports, daily activity logs, and other documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
