Pay: $22/hr | Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Contract or Contract-to-Hire Opportunity

BG Staffing is seeking a skilled and dependable Certified Maintenance Technician to support an apartment community in Shallotte, NC 28470 . This position is ideal for a maintenance professional who takes pride in delivering quality work, maintaining community standards, and providing outstanding resident service.

Position Details

Role: Certified Maintenance Technician
Location: Shallotte, NC 28470
Pay: $22/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Opportunity Type: Contract or Contract-to-Hire

Responsibilities

Complete service requests and work orders in a timely and professional manner
Perform maintenance and repairs, including:
- Pool maintenance and operations
- Plumbing repairs
- Electrical repairs
- Appliance diagnostics and repair
- Carpentry and general maintenance
Assist with unit turns and make-ready preparations
Maintain community grounds, common areas, and amenities
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards
Deliver excellent customer service to residents and team members

Requirements

Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification required
Previous apartment maintenance experience preferred
Strong troubleshooting and repair skills
Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance, and general maintenance systems
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
Reliable, detail-oriented, and professional
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
