Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Garden City, Kansas. This position involves providing critical emergency care in a fast-paced setting within an acute care facility. The role requires adaptability to float within the designated zone and adherence to clinical protocols to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Job Details Specialty: Emergency Room (ER) Location: Garden City, KS Schedule: Nights, 11.5 hours per shift, minimum of 34.5 hours per week Required Qualifications: Valid licenses and certifications including ACLS (American Heart Association), BLS (American Heart Association), ENPC or PALS, NIHSS, TNCC; 2 years of clinical experience; open to candidates with no minimum years of experience specified. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with common drips, standard ER medications, and performing EKGs, ABGs, breathing treatments, and Point of Care lab testing. Additional Information: The role involves floating throughout the regions emergency departments, working with a team supporting triage, patient care, and technical procedures. Nurses need to be capable of interpreting tele monitors and performing various disease-specific treatments. Charting System: EPIC License to Submit: Yes Trauma Level: Care setting is acute with trauma designation. Shift Notes: Nights, every other weekend, every other holiday, floating regionally within zone's ERs. The first float assignment will be communicated before or on the start date. Minimum Experience Requirement: 0 years (preferred: 2 years).
