Senior Software Engineer - File Transfer

About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the File Transfer Services (FTS) group within Infrastructure Engineering & Architecture (IEA) to design and develop complex software features for file transmission onboarding and operational activities.In this role, you will:Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environmentsContribute to large scale planning of strategiesDesign, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deploymentsResolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirementsCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goalsAct as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staffRequired Qualifications:4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education3+ years of experience as a Full Stack Java Developer, with strong proficiency in both front-end and back-end technologies1+ years of experience in agile development of software features, including requirements, refinement, story creation, task delegation, collaboration, and automated testingDesired Qualifications:Hands-on experience with React frameworks, .NET, SQL, Node.js, Playwright, and programming languages such as Java, C, C++, and C#.Experience implementing custom cloud solutions using automated CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code.Familiarity with Enterprise File Transfer solutions and related integration processes, especially integration with Axway Secure Transport, Axway Fusion or API Gateway, and Connect Direct Web Services.Knowledge of enterprise security, risk, and compliance requirements (e.g., encryption in transit, access controls, audit logging) in highly regulated environmentsAbility to lead and mentor engineering teams in delivering secure, scalable, and compliant technology solutionsJob Expectations:Lead the design and development of complex software features for File Transfer servicesThis position is not eligible for Visa sponsorshipThis position offers a hybrid work schedulePay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location.
