Senior Registered Nurse

Senior Registered Nurse
The Senior Registered Nurse will provide nursing services as part of an inter-disciplinary team to a diverse patient population.
Qualifications
- Education Required: A graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Licenses Required: Licensed to practice Professional Nursing in New York State
- Experience/Skills: Experience in assigned area preferred
- Required: Successful completion of St. Barnabas Hospital Orientation Program
- Mental and physical health to meet the demands of the position.
- ER, ICU, RR Nurses are required ACLS Certification within one (1) year of employment.
- One year Med-Surg experienced required for ER and ICU assignment.
- PALS certification required in Pediatrics area within one (1) year of employment.
Working Conditions
Thirty-seven and one half hours (37 ) per week, hours as assigned.
Job Hazards
Lifting and moving heavy patients and beds.
Needlesticks
Exposure to communicable diseases.
