Intermediate Intel Analyst (5515) with Security Clearance

Position Responsibilities Cover the position for 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday, during core hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with flexible start and end times based on mission requirements. Formulate and apply mathematical modeling and optimization methods to aid decision making, policy formulation, and other managerial functions. Collect and analyze data and develop decision support software, services, or products. Develop optimal time, cost, or logistics networks for program evaluation, review, or implementation. Participate in the FPS Open‑Source Threat Intelligence Program: monitor open sources, identify potential threats to federal facilities, and support regional special event information needs. Coordinate conveyance of threat information to appropriate leadership in accordance with FPS policies and procedures. Comply with DHS and FPS privacy and civil liberties requirements. Monitor open sources for information meeting FPS PIRs and CCIRs and coordinate reporting of PIR and CCIR data to the Executive Leadership Team. Prepare the Daily Intelligence Review Bulletin, access law‑enforcement and intelligence systems, draft and brief the DIRB, and release the DIRB daily. Support field requests for information and law‑enforcement system checks, maintain relevant system access, and document checks for performance management. Contribute to FPS Critical Incident Management by gathering and correlating intelligence data for incident reporting. Conduct research and data management in support of PIID analytic production and other agency needs. Generate data, briefings, reports, and products for FPS HQs as required. Assist in developing and drafting PIID intelligence and information reports in accordance with directives. Position Requirements Must possess a Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance. At least 5 years of relevant experience. Ability to perform all functional duties independently. Minimum education: BA/BS or MA/MS degree. Required skills: oral communication, written communication, proofreading/editing, presentation, proficiency with Global Information Systems, basic graphic design, analytical skills, proficiency with analytical software tools such as MS Excel and Tableau, problem‑solving skills, and interpersonal skills including appropriate protocol for presentations to senior leadership for FPS and DHS.
