Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00)

Licenses/Certifications: BLS required

Experience: Minimum of 2 years RN experience

What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality palliative care focused on symptom management and enhancing quality of life for patients with serious illnesses.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient-centered care plans.
• Manage symptoms including uncontrolled pain, nausea, fatigue, and other discomforts.
• Float within units of similar acuity as needed to support staffing needs.
• Uphold safety standards and documentation protocols, including EPIC electronic health records.
• Assist patients in comfort care and end-of-life support, while also providing symptom relief to those still undergoing treatment.

What You Need

• Valid Ohio RN license
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years RN experience
• EPIC EHR experience

• Previous travel nursing experience
• Experience in palliative or hospice care

About the Assignment This pioneering unit in Columbus will open on July 1, 2026, focusing on providing compassionate palliative care for patients living with complex, chronic, or serious illnesses. During training prior to opening, travelers will be floated to inpatient units to gain versatile experience. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a newly established unit and expand your clinical skills in a dynamic setting.
