Plasma Center Nurse LPN

Job Description Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) at BioLife Plasma Services, a subsidiary of Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd. Reporting to the Plasma Center Manager, support plasma center operations, manage donor eligibility, adverse events, lab result review, and client safety. Responsibilities Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, medical history, physical exam, blood testing, and serological testing. Manage donor adverse events and evaluate reactions per SOPs. Follow medical emergency SOPs, coordinate with Center Physician and transport donors to emergency care. Key in lab test results, notify donors of unsuitable results. Support vaccination programs for employees (Hepatitis B, Seasonal Flu). Manage employee incidents and coordinate further evaluation with occupational health/ER. Assist as Pandemic Coordinator and investigate community threats under EHS guidance. Qualifications High school diploma or nursing program graduate; state licensure (RN, NP, or PA). Current CPR and AED certification. State-required basic IV therapy competence. Completion of FDA approved BioLife Medical Support Specialist training. Minimum two years clinical or hospital experience. Compensation U.S. hourly wage range: $24.32 - $33.44. U.S. based employees may be eligible for short‑term incentives.
