JOB SUMMARY

Seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) for a Medical‑Surgical unit to provide direct patient care. Key Responsibilities Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Monitor patient vital signs and condition, reporting any changes to the physician. Educate patients and their families on health conditions and treatment plans. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans. Document patient care activities accurately and comprehensively in the medical record. Perform diagnostic tests and analyze results. Assist physicians with procedures. Schedule / Shift Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) Weeknights Required Qualifications Active RN license in Alabama or a multistate license. Minimum of 3 years of recent experience as a Medical‑Surgical Registered Nurse. Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility. Certifications BLS (Basic Life Support) Experience 3+ years of recent Medical‑Surgical Registered Nurse experience. Skills Proficient in providing direct patient care on a Medical‑Surgical unit. Strong assessment and critical thinking skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
