Join Our Dynamic MICU Team as a Travel RN!

Job Description:


- Position: Travel RN for MICU
- Location: Dallas, TX
- Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36

Unit Highlights:


- Diverse and Challenging Environment:
- Work in a fast-paced, critical care unit assisting patients with complex medical needs.
- Collaborate with a team of skilled professionals dedicated to high-quality patient care.

- Essential Skills & Experience Required:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in MICU/MSICU.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.

- Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Meditech is a plus.

Unit Specifics:


- Equipment:
- Proficient use of all ICU equipment including ventilators, NXStage, Arctic Sun, and GE Cardiac Output monitor.

- Documentation:
- Familiarity with Meditech documentation system.

- Procedures:
- Experience with central line placements, thoracentesis, dialysis catheter placements, cardioversions, intubations, and other advanced ICU procedures.

Dress Code Requirements:


- Scrubs: Royal Blue.
- Nail Policy: Clean and healthy; no artificial nails, gel, or next-gen finishes.
- Hair: Neatly styled and pulled back if shoulder length or longer.
- Body Art: Should be covered whenever possible.
- Piercings: Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited.

Additional Information:


- Floating Policy: Staff may float as needed based on patient acuity and unit requirements.
- Attendance Policy: Compliance with company-wide attendance policy is mandatory.
