Quality Control Manager

Job Title: Quality Control Manager (QCM) Job Type: FTE (Full time employee) Location: Bremerton, WA Duration: ASAP – August 2026 Work Hours: ~40 hours/week Benefits: Lodging, and $500/month vehicle stipend Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager (QCM) to oversee quality assurance for a heavy mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) upgrade project. The QCM will ensure all work complies with project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and manage the Quality Control Plan (QCP) . Conduct inspections and coordinate testing for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Ensure compliance with contract specifications, codes, and standards. Monitor subcontractor work to ensure quality and workmanship standards are met. Maintain accurate quality control documentation, reports, and logs. Identify deficiencies and ensure timely corrective actions. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and client representatives. Lead quality meetings and provide updates on project quality status. Ensure site safety and quality procedures are followed at all times. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience as a QCM or in construction quality control. Valid QCM Certification (such as USACE/NAVFAC CQM-C or equivalent). Strong experience in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems. Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and submittals. Knowledge of construction quality standards and safety regulations. Strong problem-solving and attention to detail. Good communication skills (written and verbal).
