Property Accountant

We’re currently working with an expanding real estate investment and property management company that is looking to add a Senior Property Accountant to their team. This hybrid opportunity offers a flexible schedule with 2–3 in-office days per week, excellent benefits, and strong long-term growth potential within the organization. The compensation package includes a base salary up to $95K, bonus eligibility, and 3 weeks of PTO. Responsibilities: Prepare and review monthly financial reporting packages and supporting schedules Participate in the month-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis Reconcile and analyze key balance sheet accounts, including fixed assets, prepaid expenses, insurance, and property tax accounts Review AP invoices to ensure proper coding and expense allocation Handle bank reconciliations and monitor daily cash activity, including ACH and wire transactions Assist with annual budgets, forecasting processes, and variance reporting Collaborate with operational leadership and assist with ad hoc financial projects Support external audit requests and help coordinate quarterly and year-end deliverables Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience within real estate or property accounting Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Experience with residential and/or commercial property portfolios Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments #J-18808-Ljbffr firstPRO 360
