Job Description
Title: CT Technologist

Schedule:
- Wednesday: 7:30 AM - 10:00 PM EST
- Thursday: 7:30 AM - 10:00 PM EST
- Friday: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM EST
- On call/callback and holidays per unit needs

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements:
- NYS licensure required prior to starting position
- Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a Level 1 trauma center
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology
- Injection therapy certification preferred (must be willing to complete during orientation)

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating the scan while adhering to safety policies.
- Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging.
- Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures to ensure their comfort.
- Insert IVs when necessary and properly position patients for scans.
- Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic medical record system, ensuring images are correctly identified and sent to the image management system upon completion.
- Maintain a clean and safe scanning environment.
