Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Machine Operators II to set up, operate, and monitor industrial-grade machinery used to manufacture precision aerospace components from nickel, stainless steel, and titanium alloys.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on machine operation experience, an understanding of manufacturing processes, and the ability to interpret work instructions and technical drawings. This role requires precision, attention to detail, safe equipment operation, and compliance with established quality standards.

Available Shifts

• 1st Shift: Monday–Thursday, 3:30 AM–2:00 PM or 4:30 AM–2:00 PM
• 2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, starting at 2:30 PM and ending at 1:00 AM
• Weekend Shift: Friday–Sunday, 5:00 AM–5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate industrial machines to form, cut, bend, size, and machine aerospace components.
• Ensure proper machine setup to produce parts that meet specified dimensions, tolerances, and quality requirements.
• Read and follow written instructions, sketches, engineering drawings, and manufacturing documents.
• Use precision measuring instruments to inspect components and verify dimensional accuracy.
• Understand and properly use machine tooling and related equipment.
• Follow established manufacturing procedures, quality standards, and workplace safety requirements.
• Enter accurate production information into manufacturing planning systems and electronic timekeeping systems.
• Identify setup issues or unclear instructions and seek clarification when necessary.
• Work under direct supervision while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience appropriate for a Machine Operator II position.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and technical sketches.
• Familiarity with machine tools, tooling setup, and precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to interpret work instructions, drawings, and manufacturing documentation.
• Basic shop mathematics skills relevant to machining operations.
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Ability to recognize problems and request clarification when needed.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work under direct supervision.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

• Work in an industrial manufacturing environment producing aerospace components.
• Properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses or full-face shields, hearing protection, heat-resistant garments, and gloves as required.
• Frequently stand, move, climb, balance, and handle materials.
• Use arms and legs frequently to perform repetitive physical tasks.
• Lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Follow all equipment safety procedures and manufacturing standards.
