Danville, Illinois, United States — thyssenkrupp Crankshaft Co LLCYour responsibilitiesForging Engineering Manager for thyssenkrupp Crankshaft Company, LLC in Danville, Illinois.Duties include: oversee all Forging Engineering functions including process, and product engineering and product engineering-related projects for forging; oversee development of forge tooling designs for new parts, improve designs for existing parts, and coordinate with customer on full life cycle of parts; observe processes, monitor product from start to finish and provide direction; lead process qualification and validation activities for new products and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards; improve operational performance by identifying quality and customer needs, and direct team to identify and diagnose customer, process, and quality problems; collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process enhancements and resolve technical challenges; plan, assign, and distribute work; and establish priorities, provide direction to team, and train team in methods and procedures.Your profileRequirements: Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering, related field, or equivalent foreign degree. 3 years of work experience as a Forging, Process, or Design Engineer.
