Breast Medical Science Liaison/Sr Medical Science Liaison - Connecticut/Upstate NY

AstraZeneca seeks a Medical Science Liaison or Senior MSL for its Breast Oncology team in Connecticut and Upstate New York. The role develops local medical strategy, builds relationships with healthcare providers, and provides scientific support for oncology products and pipeline compounds.

Responsibilities

• Develop tailored medical strategy aligned with company priorities and local patient needs
• Build and maintain relationships with oncologists, academic centers, hospitals, and managed markets
• Lead scientific exchanges and peer-to-peer interactions with key opinion leaders
• Gather insights on treatment landscape, practice barriers, and opportunities to improve patient outcomes
• Collaborate with clinical operations on trial feasibility and execution

Requirements

• Advanced degree required: PharmD, MD/DO, PhD, PA, or NP in health science or clinical discipline
• 2+ years Medical Science Liaison or relevant therapeutic area experience
• Demonstrated ability to discuss scientific content with diverse audiences
• Strong understanding of clinical study design, protocols, and trial methodology
• Excellent project management and written communication skills
• Ability to travel 40-60% by car, train, and plane domestically
• Basic knowledge of healthcare systems, statistics, and regulatory environment

Compensation: $174,455-$261,682 base salary
