Key Responsibilities Tax Preparation & Compliance Prepare individual, partnership, corporate, and S-corporation tax returns Review financial information and supporting documentation Ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations Maintain accuracy and quality throughout engagements Assist with special tax projects and client needs Tax Research & Planning Research tax laws and technical issues Assist with tax planning initiatives and projections Identify tax-saving opportunities for clients Support consulting and advisory engagements Stay current on tax law changes and industry developments Client Service Develop and maintain strong client relationships Communicate directly with clients regarding tax matters Assist clients with requests and information gathering Help resolve tax-related questions and concerns Deliver timely and responsive client service IRS & Regulatory Support Assist with IRS and state tax notice responses Support resolution of tax-related inquiries Prepare documentation supporting notice responses Help clients navigate regulatory requirements Maintain compliance with professional standards Professional Development Continue expanding technical tax knowledge Participate in continuing education opportunities Work toward CPA certification if not already licensed Learn firm processes and best practices Develop leadership skills for future career growth Qualifications Required Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field 3+ years of public accounting tax experience Experience preparing individual and business tax returns Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and time management abilities Ability to work independently and collaboratively Who Thrives Here?
