Specializing in skin cancer prevention and treatment, our patients can expect consistent, compassionate, and personalized care, in an intimate and familial setting. The Position: Medical Assistant Starting pay for this position is based on education and experience. Bonuses are given throughout the year, and PTO is offered after your first year of employment. You will be working from 8:30am-5:00pm, but will be expected to have some flexibility with your schedule. Our office is not open on the weekends. As a team, we all work together to complete our daily tasks, and need someone who can reliably stay until at least 5:00pm. Duties include: * Assisting practitioners - routine exams and procedures * Triaging patient concerns, verifying/documenting medical history and current medications * Collection and tracking of biopsy specimens * Scheduling all surgical, Mohs, and ED&C procedures * Scrubbing and sterilizing instruments * Cleaning and stocking exam rooms Must have: * Knowledge of sterile technique * Knowledge of proper handling and disposal of biomedical waste This is a cross-trained position.
