Job Summary  

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Engineer Assistant to support engineering and manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will assist with maintaining engineering records, processing production data, inspecting machine parts, and helping troubleshoot equipment and production issues to minimize customer downtime. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Maintain and organize card files, engineering documents, and blueprints  
• Assist with data processing and documentation management  
• Support engineering and manufacturing teams with administrative and technical tasks  
• Measure and inspect machine parts for quality and accuracy  
• Assist in troubleshooting production and equipment failures  
• Help identify and resolve manufacturing issues to improve efficiency and reduce downtime  
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, measurements, and corrective actions  
• Communicate effectively with production personnel and engineering staff  

Qualifications 

• High school diploma or equivalent required  
• Technical or manufacturing background preferred  
• Experience or familiarity with:  
• SolidWorks  
• Microsoft Excel  
• Microsoft Word  
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings  
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills  
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability  
• Ability to use measuring and inspection tools  
• Good communication and teamwork skills  

Preferred Skills 

• Experience in machining or manufacturing environments  
• Understanding of production equipment and troubleshooting processes  
• Basic knowledge of quality control and inspection procedures
