Certified Surg Tech - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team. This role is for a hospital in Baltimore, MD, supporting a non-trauma, community hospital that operates multiple operating rooms with a mix of outpatient and inpatient cases.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
• BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years of OR/Surgical Technologist experience in an acute care setting.
• Experience with Meditech or similar EMR charting preferred.
• Ability to support a high-volume OR environment (facility averages 35-40 cases per day).
• Experience caring for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient populations preferred.
• Preferred specialty experience: Orthopedics, Vascular, Robotics, Plastics (preferred, not required).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a 14-OR hospital or comparable surgical footprint preferred.
• Familiarity with a mix of general, GYN, plastics, ortho, and bariatric procedures preferred.
• Experience in both outpatient and inpatient surgical workflows preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 09:00-21:30.
• Shift days: Days.
• Facility provides OR scrubs on site and free parking.
