Electrical Superintendent

Job Description

Experienced Electrical Superintendent with extensive knowledge in overseeing large-scale commercial and industrial electrical projects from pre-construction through completion. Proven ability to lead field teams, coordinate subcontractors, maintain project schedules, and ensure compliance with all safety and electrical codes. Strong background in interpreting blueprints, managing manpower, controlling budgets, and delivering projects on time and within scope.


Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all field electrical activities on assigned projects
  
  
• Manage foremen, electricians, apprentices, and subcontractors
  
  
• Ensure compliance with NEC, local codes, OSHA standards, and company safety policies
  
  
• Interpret and implement project drawings, specifications, and contracts
  
  
• Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, inspectors, and engineers
  
  
• Develop and maintain project schedules and manpower forecasts
  
  
• Conduct daily jobsite meetings and safety briefings
  
  
• Monitor productivity and quality control standards
  
  
• Oversee material procurement and equipment logistics
  
  
• Resolve field conflicts and technical issues
  
  
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget

• Strong leadership and team management abilities
  
  
• Advanced knowledge of electrical systems (commercial, industrial, high-voltage)
  
  
• Blueprint and schematic reading proficiency
