Material HandlerLocation: Shelton, CT Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM Pay: $19.25–$22.00/hour, depending on experienceJob SummaryWe are seeking a strong, experienced Material Handler to join our team in Shelton. The ideal candidate will have solid forklift experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.This position plays an important role in keeping materials moving efficiently throughout the facility and ensuring production has what it needs, when it needs it.ResponsibilitiesOperate a forklift safely and efficiently throughout the facilityMove and stage materials, products, and pallets throughout the production floorRead, interpret, and accurately match work ordersPull and deliver materials according to work ordersWrap and secure skids for storage or shipmentScan materials and maintain accurate inventory recordsLoad, unload, and move materials as neededVerify quantities and materials against work orders and documentationKeep materials organized and work areas clean and safeCommunicate with production and warehouse teams to ensure materials are available when neededFollow all company safety procedures and operating guidelinesQualificationsPrevious experience as a Material Handler in a manufacturing or warehouse environmentStrong forklift experience requiredAbility to maneuver a forklift safely throughout an active production facilityExperience working from work orders and matching materials accuratelyComfortable using scanners and basic computer systemsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and prioritize tasksAbility to lift and move materials as requiredReliable attendance and a strong work ethicCommitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environmentWhy This Opportunity?This is a great opportunity for an experienced Material Handler looking to join a stable team where skill, reliability, and attention to detail are valued.
