Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Chiropractic Assistant / PT assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our chiropractic staff and ensuring a positive experience for our patients. You will assist with patient care, manage administrative tasks, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the practice. Ideal candidates will possess a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, along with excellent patient service skills. This is a certified licensed position. Will help assist in acquiring certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist chiropractors during patient assessments and treatments.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment scheduling.
• Educate patients on treatment plans and provide guidance on exercises or therapies.
• Ensure a clean and organized office environment to promote patient comfort.
• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all necessary equipment is ready for use.
• Handle administrative tasks such as answering phones, filing, and managing correspondence.
• Stay updated on medical terminology and chiropractic practices to effectively communicate with patients.

Qualifications

• Minimum education- Associates Degree.
• Strong work ethic.
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology is essential for understanding patient needs.
• Experience in patient assessment techniques to provide effective support during treatments.
• Strong patient service skills to create a welcoming atmosphere for all patients and to facilitate clear communication within the healthcare setting.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
• Prior experience in a healthcare or chiropractic setting is required.
• Knowledge of kinesiology is helpful

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
