Job Summary
Emergency Room Registered Nurse, ER, will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care within a busy Emergency Room setting. The role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, along with delivering health education, counseling, and therapeutic interventions to support patient well-being.

Job Details

• Position: Emergency Room Registered Nurse, ER,
• Schedule: Rotating shift; 3-12 hour Mid/Night shifts, with weekend coverage; minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice; BLS (American Heart Association); ACLS (American Heart Association); PALS (American Heart Association); TNCC; NIHSS.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience as a Registered Nurse in an Emergency Room setting is preferred.
• Additional Responsibilities: Performs independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions according to accepted standards; assesses, plans, and documents patient care; facilitates therapy and treatment plans; may be required to float to other departments within scope of competency; may be placed on-call during scheduled shifts.
• Certifications & Licenses: Valid state or Compact RN license; BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS certifications are required; ENPC certification is preferred.
• Clinical Skills: Nursing care, health data assessment, health teaching, health counseling, therapy and treatment, documentation, medical functions execution, therapy and treatment plan monitoring, patient referral, resource utilization.
