Position Summary The Legal Counsel – Health Care Services will provide timely, practical, and actionable legal advice to internal business partners and leadership, enabling the organization to grow and achieve long‑term strategic goals. Responsibilities Develop a deep understanding of the business and operational goals of assigned internal clients and maintain positive relationships with clients at all levels of the organization. Collaborate effectively as part of the broader legal team, providing practical and sound advice to internal clients on legal issues related to business objectives and actively drive projects to successful conclusion. Provide counsel directly to PBM division leadership and manage legal and regulatory compliance interpretation for PBM services agreements. Identify business and legal risks and recommend solutions that balance those risks with business objectives. Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in transactional and/or complex contracting with a healthcare company or law firm. 2+ years of healthcare law experience with a basic knowledge of HIPAA, Medicare, Medicaid, the False Claims Act, and the Federal Anti‑Kickback Statute. Admitted to practice law in at least one state. Ability to travel up to 5%. Preferred Qualifications Commitment to high standards in work product. 5+ years in practice with healthcare or PBM experience. Expertise in negotiating and drafting a variety of complex contracts. Strong business insight and ability to work collaboratively in a large, complex corporate structure. Excellent written and oral communication skills, initiative, drive, and self‑confidence. Comfortable in a fast‑paced environment and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Education Undergraduate degree and Juris Doctor required. Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $144,200.00 – $288,400.00. The actual base salary offer will depend on experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
