Production Manager

A manufacturing company is seeking an experienced and hands-on Production Manager to oversee the full manufacturing operation and ensure production runs efficiently, on schedule, and at the highest level of quality. This role is responsible for managing production teams, optimizing workflows, maintaining equipment performance, and driving operational excellence across the facility. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can build an accountable, high-performing culture while improving efficiency, reducing waste, and supporting company growth.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily production operations, scheduling, workflow optimization, and on-time order fulfillment while maintaining quality and cost targets.
• Lead, train, and manage production staff, enforcing accountability, safety standards, and a strong team culture.
• Manage equipment maintenance, preventative maintenance programs, facility organization, and machine uptime to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor inventory, materials, KPIs, and operational processes while driving continuous improvement, waste reduction, and efficiency initiatives.

Skills:

• Strong leadership and team management abilities in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Excellent operational planning, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
• Knowledge of production workflows, inventory management, quality control, and safety compliance.
• Strong communication, organizational, and reporting skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a Production Manager or manufacturing leadership role.
• Proven experience managing teams and driving operational performance.
• Experience with production systems, SOP implementation, and process optimization.
• Knowledge of equipment maintenance, safety standards, and manufacturing best practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on production environment.
