Senior FP&A Manager

A large, established investment management organization is seeking a Senior FP&A Manager to build and own the financial planning infrastructure supporting its core business and related entities. This is a hands-on, individual-contributor role reporting into corporate leadership, working closely with accounting and reporting to turn financial data into forward-looking insight on profitability, liquidity, leverage, and capital deployment. What you'll own:

• Lead the consolidated multi-year corporate budget and recurring forecast cycles, tracking accuracy over time and explaining what's driving each revision
• Maintain a weekly corporate cash forecast along with covenant and leverage projections, surfacing risk early
• Build and refine the firm's profitability model, including cost allocation methodology and margin reporting by business unit and leader
• Develop scenario and sensitivity tools to support long-range planning and capital allocation decisions
• Partner with accounting during monthly and quarterly close to explain variances and keep management reporting tied to GAAP results
• Coordinate with investment teams on fee and investment forecast inputs, filling in analysis where needed
• Support finance system implementations and enhancements, including data mapping, model design, and testing
• Identify and drive automation opportunities across models, data sourcing, and reporting- Document models and processes to support version control and continuity

• Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 7+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, transaction advisory, investment banking, or public accounting
• Hands-on experience personally building and maintaining complex, multi-year financial models, budgets, and forecasts
• Expert-level Excel, comfortable with large datasets, complex formulas, and model documentation
• Strong grasp of financial statements and the ability to translate GAAP results into forward-looking management reporting
• Ability to distill complex analysis into clear executive-level recommendations
• Self-starter with strong attention to detail, comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Willing to work extended hours during peak reporting periods
• On-site role

• Background in real estate investment management, private equity, or asset management
• Familiarity with management fee, promote, incentive fee, or carried interest structures
• Experience with expense allocation, profitability, or contribution margin modeling
• Power BI, Power Query, or similar data visualization/transformation tools
• Prior involvement in an EPM or financial planning system implementation
