Soule Early Childhood Center – Town of Brookline Recreation Department
The Town of Brookline’s Soule Early Childhood Center is hiring EEC-certified part-time Teachers to join our dynamic and supportive team! We are seeking warm, enthusiastic, and experienced educators who are passionate about working with toddlers and preschool-aged children (ages 15 months – 5 years).
At Soule, we honor the unique spirit of each child and educator. Our nurturing and play-based Montessori/Reggio inspired environment fosters independence, creativity, self-directed learning, and joy. We are a collaborative, mission-driven team that values inclusion, trust, and professional growth.
Part-Time Schedule Options (Monday–Friday Required):
- Afternoon Shift: 1:30 PM – 5:15 PM
Applicants must be consistently available Monday through Friday for this afternoon shift.
Qualifications:
- Must hold current EEC Certification (Teacher or Lead Teacher)
- Minimum of 1 years experience working with toddlers and/or preschoolers
- Strong communication skills with children, families, and coworkers
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
