About the Role:

The DON will be responsible for the overall direction and management of our nursing department, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, company policies, and industry best practices. Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of nursing professionals, including nurses, nurse aides, and other support staff

• Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies, such as the Joint Commission and CMS

• Conduct performance evaluations, provides feedback, and recommends promotions and corrective actions

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance improvement projects

• Collaborate with other departments to achieve strategic goals and advance our organization's mission

• Develop and manage the nursing budget, ensuring effective use of resources

• Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within a healthcare setting

• Strong clinical expertise and knowledge of nursing practices and procedures

• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks

• Strong analytical and decision-making skills
